Lock the approved configuration
Production should not start from a loose product name. It should start from the approved model, material set, motor, voltage, interface, drawing and test requirement, including acceptance limits for flow, pressure or vacuum and current.
The release route should identify inspection points, test station, load fixture, labeling rules and the records that connect each batch back to the approved configuration.
Keep changes visible
Any change to material, motor, port, cable, tube, supplier or test method should trigger a review of affected interfaces, flow or vacuum drift, temperature rise and validation scope.
Frequently asked questions
What record matters most for repeatability?
The controlled configuration record matters first. Batch, test station, measured flow or pressure, current and release approval are useful only when they point to the same approved build.
