How to Validate a Liquid Diaphragm Pump Before OEM Production

A validation route for liquid pump projects moving from sample approval to controlled OEM production.

Validate the fluid, not only the pump

Liquid projects should test the real medium, concentration and temperature whenever possible. Wetted materials, valve behavior and priming can change when the fluid differs from water.

Record flow at actual head or back pressure, startup condition, leakage path, temperature rise and duty cycle before releasing the configuration.

Connect tests to release records

A validation report is useful only when it identifies the exact model, material set, voltage, tube path and test condition that production will repeat.

Frequently asked questions

Can water testing replace chemical compatibility review?

No. Water can confirm basic operation, but compatibility must consider the actual fluid, concentration, temperature and exposure time.
